OUR HISTORY

My greatest commitment to the planet is to create clothes that can be worn for as long as possible. Clothes that you never get tired of, that you love to wear again and again, that age well and become more and more beautiful over time. This is why in imagining HAPPY HAUS, I first wanted to propose a style and not try to be fashionable. Because fashion goes out of fashion as quickly as it is created and pushes us to consume without know what you want, what you are.

“15 years ago, I left Frankfurt in Germany to come to Paris with my dream of one day creating a brand that really suits me.

After studying at ESMOD, I took my first steps as a designer alongside Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, before discovering more commercial fashion. I wanted to take advantage of all these experiences and free from all these constraints, by offering today a wardrobe that frees itself from the seasons, from the rhythms of the collections, to offer clothes that you can wear all the time, and have the pleasure of seeing them age.

And since all my life, all my childhood, I lived it with the awareness of my environment and the requirement to respect it, it was natural for me, almost imperative, to propose today an “eco-responsible” collection. or each of my suppliers would help me tell this story, by sharing this same requirement, these same values. »

FAMILY

My greatest commitment to the planet is to create clothes that can be worn for as long as possible. Clothes that you never get tired of, that you love to wear again and again, that age well and become more and more beautiful over time. This is why in imagining HAPPY HAUS, I first wanted to propose a style and not try to be fashionable.

I wanted to offer a wardrobe that would be worn all year round around a few models, deliberately few in number, long thought out so that they become obvious and respond to my commitment.

I am not an activist, I am not perfect, even less exemplary, but I try to do my best, by looking for suppliers who share my values, that they manufacture denim certified by GOTS and by Greenpeace, wooden buttons or in corozo or that they weave especially for us beautiful organic cotton
or tencel, this incredibly soft fabric like silk made from wood.

All these women and all these men are the HAPPY FAMILY.
